Yeah,.
Just yesterday it was my birthday.
I had the bestest amongst the best parties ever !
For 4 years i always thought to myself -
My existence ; does it really matter?
Whether im beside them or not, does it matter?
What if im gone? Will people notice?
Will people treasure me?
This is what i've been thinking for 4 years.
All the while.
For a very very long time.
For years, i've been planning friend's birthday parties.
Nobody ever planned mine.
- Maybe forgotten.
But 22nd May changed it all.

We went to Bukit Batok to celebrate Jp's birthday.
@ Nebby's place. (Do note that i wasnt in good terms with him b4)
Arrived at BB at around 3pm.
Started BBQ at around 4-5pm or maybe later.
Took some photos..
Started eating like pigs. :3
More people came.
Made new friends again yeah.
Teased Victor about being 40...
there and then.
Jp's cake came out. :)
Everyone sang the birthday song.
and me thinking, how embarassing it would be ! hahaha..
I laughed so loud and hard till i didnt even notice.

They bought a cake for me.

A small chocolate one, i reckon blackforest, and a peach and logan one..
Everyone started singing happy birthday, being the full of pride me, i kept my tears in.
Being surrounded by guys, how can i shed a tear?
It was one of my happiest moments.
The times where i least expected . It was expected.
Thereafter.
On the way home,
Me, Hubby, Oba and Cy took the same train from Lakeside to Cityhall/Kembangan/Tampines
Hubby went home to take spare clothes for change since he was staying overnight to celebrate my 16th Birthday.
I told him..
" If only Tiffany, Amanda and PeiZhen were here, how nice.. "

Upon reaching home.
i quickly put the leftover cake into the fridge,
scurrying about the house like a panicked mouse.
laughing, smiling, being so happy- that i havent been for the past few years.
I hurried to the toilet upstairs to take a bath.
And as i entered my room..
I saw Amy, Amanda and Tiffany right in my room ! Along with Peizhen and Hazel on the phone line.
Few days ago i doubted Tiffany. - I doubted her being my good friend, i doubted Peizhen, i doubted EVERYBODY.
then..
To me.
I really rubbed my eyes.
i couldnt believe my eyes.
They're there.
They were holding the cake.
Taking photos, taking videos.
They're real.
my tears uncontrollably dropped..
Feeling the prideful me again.
I backed out away from the light.
- they didnt care, they didnt care how i looked. They still treat me good..
Received hugs from them.
And when i heard them singing happy birthday even through the phone.
i really cried.
for 16 years, i had nothing like this.
for 4 years thinking im worthless.
and in just 1 day.
They made me feel that im important..

On 23rd May - it was a Sunday.
Was getting ready to go to bed when suddenly i heard many notifications coming from my phone - Facebook.
Everyone was spamming me happy birthday!
Even people i didnt know..
Even people i werent close with..
More than 20-30 people wished me happy birthday.
I'm so happy.
I couldnt expect anything more than this.
I feel..
.so happy...
